“The Third World War has already begun” – Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Army
The Ukrainian Ambassador to the United Kingdom and former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, stated that the direct involvement of Russia’s allies in the war against Ukraine marks the beginning of World War III.
He made this statement on November 21 during the annual UP 100 Awards ceremony hosted by the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper.
Zaluzny said: “I think that in 2024 we can definitely say that World War III has begun. This is because in 2024 Ukraine is no longer facing only Russia. We are facing North Korean soldiers – let’s be honest about this. In Ukraine, Iranian Shahed drones are openly and shamelessly killing civilians. North Korean-made missiles are already being launched at Ukraine, and they are openly admitting it. Chinese shells are exploding in Ukraine, and Chinese components are used in Russian missiles.”
According to Zaluzhny, most military personnel agree that all the above factors provide every reason to say that world war has begun and the world should prepare for it.
“What the world has been fearing for a long time has already begun,” he stressed. “But I want to say that God gives the opportunity not only to Ukraine but to the whole world to draw the right conclusions now. It is still possible to stop this here, on Ukrainian territory. But for some reason, our partners have failed to understand this.”
Zaluzhny added that Ukraine is already facing “very many enemies,” and while technology will help the country survive, it is uncertain whether Ukraine will be able to achieve victory on its own.
“That is why I believe that the world war has begun. Welcome to it,” Zaluzhny said.
Earlier, Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile in an attack on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro on November 21, making Ukraine the first country in the world to use an intercontinental ballistic missile against it in combat.
